Amazon Mobile Ads plugin for Unity RELEASED!
In a stand of defiance against the overlords at Unity HQ, I’ve packaged up the Amazon Mobile Ads plugin for Unity, and released it on this very blog!
If you haven’t heard the story yet, to paraphrase: I submitted it on the Unity Asset store, but they refused it due to internal business reasons.
Nothing to do with me, or my work, apparently.
Anyway, if you are in the market for an Amazon Mobile Ads plugin, and don’t want to waste your valuable time implementing it yourself, then you’ll be wanting this.
I’ve even released a version that includes the full Eclipse project. This is used to build the class that interfaces Unity to native Android. It could be used to add extra Amazon Mobile Ads functionality, or you could just extend it to include other native functions such as displaying a message box.
It’s an awesome way to avoid having to build your own native Android class from scratch!
