Yes, all Shiva. I wanted it to look like something that might have been done in Flash.

Shiva is a bit weak when it comes to designing UI's. This game was a test of a GUI framework I was working on that uses an XML file to define the menu structure, rather than the usual way which is to design each menu in Shiva's UI designer.

It's also a test of fake 2D graphics that are done by texturing flat 3D polygons that always face the camera, making them look 2D. Shiva is primarily a 3D game engine, so 2D graphics have to be done this way for performance reasons.

Just downloaded this game and tried it on my Android phone. Really fun and it'll probably be my game of choice when waiting in line or commuting.

The game is developed entirely in Shiva?

Thanks. If Android Market were better designed, it wouldn't be so difficult.

Nonetheless, I'll keep hammering away at it because developing my own apps is far more satisfying than writing software for business, which is what currently pays the bills.

Hi Neil, I hope you'll finally get the reception for SolarEx and ExEx you deserve. The counterpart of your app on apple has a huge amount of downloads, but yours is in my eyes far better. Keep on making the main apps better and better!
